Teams and Relays: To register as a team or relay the team captain must register first and create a team name and team pass code, then distribute these to their teammates. If you are the team captain create the team name and match code and share it with your team members, if you are a team member enter the team name and pass code provided by your captain.
Teams must consist of 6-12 runners and can be any combination of male and female runners. The top 6 times of your team members will be combined to get your total team time; females receive a ten minute deduction. You MUST have 6 team members to qualify as a team and receive a $10 discount on the entry fee. If you do not have 6 members by the time registration is sold out, your team will be voided and you will be charged an additional $10 and you will run in the individual category.
2-Person Relay Team: Relay teams need to create a team name and create a team pass code to make sure that both members of the relay team are paired up correctly at race day. If you are the first registrant for a 2-person relay team please create the team name and pass code and share it with your relay team member so they may enter them when they register.
2-Person relay teams must have two runners registered with the same team name and pass code to qualify as a relay team. If you do not have a relay partner by the time the registration is sold out your relay team will be voided and you will have to drop out or change to the individual category; check our FaceBook page if your are still looking for a relay partner.
If you are an elite runner please email the race director firstname.lastname@example.org with your running resume and request. You must be able to compete for a top 3 overall finish in the Men’s or Women’s open division of the half marathon. If approved, an elite entry form will be emailed to you. $2,000 in cash, Ball Watches plus large format wines and other prizes will be awarded.

Wine Glass and Tasting:
$15 includes logo glass and wine and beer tasting at post-race festival ($20 at event quantities limited). Be prepared to show ID if asked at festival entrance. This purchase is available to registered runners only online and runners may purchase up to two extra glasses for guests. (Limit 3 glasses total)
Early Packet Pickup Party:
$25. Thursday May 6th 5:30pm to 7:30pm, location Carr Winery, 414 N. Salsipuedes St., Santa Barbara. If you wish to pick up your packet on Thursday evening in Santa Barbara you may sign up for our early packet pickup party which includes wine tasting and appetizers. Only registered guests will be able to pick up their packets at this event. Your packet will be available at the expo and the start line if you miss the event.
Race Orientation & Welcome Reception in Solvang
$30. Friday May 7th, 6:00pm to 7:30pm, location Hotel Corque 400 Alisal Road, Solvang, CA. A guest speaker, race director and race announcer will provide insight on the course and race preparation. Wine and light food are included. Meet elite runners and other guests.
Late Packet Pickup
$20. If you wish to pick up your packet at the start on race morning between 5:30 and 6:30am you must pay for this option in advance.
Santa Barbara Buses
Buses will leave from Fess Parker’s Doubletree Inn in Santa Barbara at 5:15am and from Bacara Resort at 5:45am for the start area The return bus to Santa Barbara will leave Solvang Park for Bacara Resort and the Doubletree at 12:00pm after the race. The bus fare is $30 per person and you must purchase seats on the desired bus in advance.

Refunds are allowed up until 90 days prior to the event with a $15 processing fee. NO refunds are allowed after that date. You may recevie a 50% credit to any of our future races (destinationraces.com) if you notify us at least 5 days prior to the event that you will unable to attend. If you pick up your packet or transfer your registration you are ineligible to receive the credit.
If you wish to transfer your registration you may download the transfer form on the website and follow the instructions. If you process the transfer at least 30 days in advance the new registrant will receive the personalized bib. Transfers may still be made within 30 days but they will not be processed until the expo and bibs will not be personalized. Click here for a transfer form.
