Half Marathon or Team Relay
Bring your friends and family (especially Mom as its Mother's Day weekend). Remember, the race is staged on SATURDAY and our packet pickup and expo days are Thursday and Friday.
Half Marathon:
The field will be limited this year to the first 2,500 registrations. Registration is open to all runners and fast walkers who can keep a pace of 14:30 per mile or better and finish in 3hr 15min.
Team Relay Option:
Run with Mom, a friend or running partner and split the half marathon distance! Teams may be 2 men, 2 women or co-ed, plus special mother & sibling awards will be given. The first leg of the relay is 6 miles and starts in downtown Santa Ynez and finishes in Los Olivos. The second leg is 7.1 miles and runs from Los Olivos to downtown Solvang via Ballard Canyon (no casual walkers please). Transportation is provided to and from the transition area and the start and finish areas.

Elite Runner Registration
If you are an elite runner please email the race director at raceinfo@destinationraces.com with your resume and request. You must be able to compete for a top 4 overall finish in the Men's or Women's division of the half marathon. If approved, an elite entry form will be emailed to you. $2,500 in cash, Ball Watches plus large format wines and other prizes will be awarded.
Packet Pickup
Santa Barbara Running Co.
Your first packet pickup option is at Santa Barbara Running Co. in Goleta on Thursday May 8th from noon to 6:00pm. Your bib, timing device, and goodie bag will be available at the store which is located at 129 N Fairview. Exit Hwy 101 at Fairview heading east and the store is located on the left (north side) in the mall next to OSH Hardware.
EXPO in Solvang & Friday Packet Pickup
The race expo and Friday packet pickup will be held in Solvang Park on May 9th from Noon to 6:00pm. Solvang Park is the site of the post-race Wine & Music Festival and is located at the corner of Mission St. (Hwy 246) and 1st St. in downtown Solvang.
Packet pickup options:
A friend or family member may pick up your race packet for you if they bring your email confirmation. If you or a friend cannot pick up your packet a late pickup option is provided at the start area. The cost of this option is $8 and can be paid online with registration or paid when you pick up your packet.
