Weekend Events:
Wine & Music Festival
The first finishers will be sprinting down Copenhagen Drive in downtown Solvang shortly after 8:00am. Be there to cheer them on, followed by the rest of the field in the Santa Barbara Wine Country Half Marathon. After receiving a beautiful finisher's medal, participants will be wisked into the recovery tent for rehydration with complimentary food and beverages.
Bring your family (Mom especially) and friends to help celebrate your accomplishment in style at the post-race Wine & Music Festival sponsored by the Santa Barbara Independent. A kids play area and exhibitor booths will be set up on First St. The awards ceremony is held in Solvang Park at the completion of the race and a live band plays throughout the festival.
Participants and their guests (21+) may purchase a wine glass for tasting of various wineries from the region in Solvang Park. Wine glasses with wine tasting may be purchased online with race registration up until 30 days prior to the event ($15 per person - limit 2 glasses) or at the festival ($20). Please bring your ID to claim your glass.
