Road Closures—Saturday May 10th
The course is designed for minimum impact upon local neighborhoods and traffic. The race begins in Santa Ynez at
7:00am on Saturday and the final runners/walkers will finish at approximately 10:15am in Solvang. The course runs from
Santa Ynez to Los Olivos, then down Ballard Canyon and onto Chalk Hill Rd to Atterdag and Copenhagen Dr. All major
roads linking the towns in the Santa Ynez Valley will remain open. A CHP rolling closure will take place along the race
route and in some cases detours will be provided for convenience.

5am to 7:30am Sagunto St. from Meadowvale to Faraday
- 6:30am to 7:30am Meadowvale & Olive at Faraday, Edison
- 7:00am to 7:40am Edison from Olive to Baseline
- 7:15am to 8:00am Baseline from Edison to Refugio
- 7:20am to 8:20am Refugio from Baseline to Roblar
- 7:30am to 8:30am Steele Lane
- 7:30am to 9:50am Ballard Canyon Rd. (runners travel south)
Right Lane Closure
- 7:30am to 8:15am Roblar from Refugio to Grand Ave.
- 7:30am to 8:30am Grand Ave. from Roblar to Alamo Pintado
- 8:00am to 10:15am Chalk Hill Rd.
- 8:00am to 10:15am Atterdag Rd.
Full Closure
- 5:00am to 11:00am Copenhagen Dr from Atterdag to First St.
- 5:00am to 1pm First St. from Mission to Copenhagen Dr. for Race Festival
