This race would not be possible without the help of almost 200 volunteers, who are the "face" of the event and are what the runners remember long after the race is over.
Volunteer opportunities include assisting with bib/shirt distribution on the day before the race as well as a variety of race day positions. We would love to have your help and support as a volunteer if you're interested! Volunteers receive an event volunteer shirt and many, many thanks for their efforts. Santa Ynez Valley Union High School
Santa Ynez Valley Union High School students, staff and its boosters are the primary provider of event volunteers. They receive $2 from each race entry plus additional contributions per each volunteer provided.
